5D with a EF 15mm.
One shot every 60 degrees, 1 x nadir and 1 x zenith. This is a great setup and need little photos!
I’ve also taken some static shot the following day, they can be found here.
Timelapse. To see a static 360 one that’s taken during the night. See here. It was raining when this sets of 5 x 360 pano were taken thus the slight movement of the camera/ NN3 and why the sky is totally “washed out” and grey.
If it’s too slow in loading, try resizing the viewing window smaller. It will scale accordingly. Remember, you’ll need shockwave.
Here’s my first attempt. Note that the loading will take a while.
How to view:
Download Shockwave if you have not done so first.
Gotten beta versions of Lightroom and Photoshop CS3 and relooked at one of the more dull pano I have, the Millenia Tower one and applied some preset effect (Darktone +105) in Lightroom then used CS3, adjusted some Levels and here’s a more interesting 360 Pano. Then applied noise ninja, as you can see, with my Canon 350D at ISO 1600, the panos are rather noisy… all took 10 mins. They’re some kick arse products!
Good and bad thing. I recently crashed my file server at home but all’s well as it’s running RAID 5 and been a long time since I burn them to DVD so good time to upgrade. Replaced it with 2 x file servers (both RAID 5 of course!) and formatted the rig i used to generate all the pano you see as I found out it’s not the software(s) causing problems, it was the OS itself.
Here, some remake of the panos in better resolutions. Enjoy!
